Media Trust Web Sites Over Any Other Source
Inside-the-beltway decision makers indicate that they rely on and
respond to online information more than any other format, according
to a survey conducted by Mindshare Internet Campaigns. 54 percent
of respondents specify that web sites are the most trusted research
tools while 13 percent rely on press releases and 4 percent on email.
Half of the respondents also indicate a preference for online resources
rather than personal or snail mail formats for access to policy
analysis and research information. CEO of Mindshare, Dan Solomon,
states that the survey "shows how effective online communications

Lightening the Load
37 percent of CFOs state that the most effective method of managing
time is to take greater advantage of technology tools, according
to a survey conducted by Robert Half Management Resources. 15 percent
of respondents state that spending less time at meetings is another
effective means of managing time. With the growing list of responsibilities
and challenges facing financial executives, delegating time and
using technology is a means of managing and regulating business.
Executive director of Robert Half, Paul McDonald purports that "for
CFOs who travel frequently, mobile phones, laptops and wireless
handheld devices enable them to remain accessible to staff."
