Blogs are becoming the communication solution of choice, given the global nature of many businesses, whose employees work at locations across the globe. In order to effectively implement fundamental changes to its culture and work environment, The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) launched a global campaign, the Blog Blast. Through open dialogue in blog format, all employees were invited to share their ideas and participate in a discussion about the company’s leadership, quality, accountability, and innovation. This also offered an opportunity for senior leadership to better define the values of the company.

Foster's Group Limited

Intranets can help companies and their leaders develop effective communication and accurately convey the company's message to their global audience. "Choose Your News" is a financial results campaign launched by Foster's Group to leverage financial results communication in a fresh way to meet post-merger objectives, targeting office-based employees around the world. The new intranet community invites employees to choose the subjects of their interest, featuring information about the company's full-year financial results, and communications that connect other global initiative to financial performance. The campaign has succeeded in positioning the company's global messages to its employees effectively, efficiently and reliably.

 

Baby Boot Camp Web Site
Ideawire, Inc.

New tools made available by the Internet are becoming increasingly instrumental in establishing and expanding businesses as more go online. With the assistance of Ideawire, Baby Boot Camp redesigned its static web site for a stroller fitness program into one that could dynamically communicate its message and efficiently operate its business. New web-based communicaton tools helped the business implement an online presence that recruited franchisees, drove membership and served existing students more effectively.
