Preparing CWT Internally for External Greatness
Development Communication Solutions
After an audit revealed that the culture of Child Welfare Tshwane (CWT) feeds on the negative perceptions the general public holds concerning social work and welfare, Development Communication Solutions (DevCom) developed a series of communication tools that would enable staff to increase public awareness and understanding about the organization. Using a complete communication audit and solution strategy, DevCom helped CWT enhance its communication practices to overcome glaring budget restraints and low staff morale.

Wolfmother Rocks First Live Streamed Gig
Pulse Communications
In an effort to position Vodafone as a mobile music leader, the company secured Wolfmother, a popular rock band, to give a concert that would be streamed for free to Vodafone mobile phones. This was Australia’s first live stream of a rock concert to mobile phones, and it demonstrated the new 3G technology that Vodafone offers to customers. This project required exceptional public relations maneuvers and communication strategies, and proved successful in spite of budget restraints and tight time lines.

ChildFund Sustained Media Relations
Network PR
New Zealand charity ChildFund hired PR group Network PR to boost its declining sponsorship rate. The new marketing plan started fresh by implementing innovative techniques with personal touches that made the campaign stand out. Most notably was its gift catalog, “Gifts That Grow,” which helps provide low income-families with the essentials for a sustainable life.
