Reservations

The IABC group room block is sold out due to a high number of early registrations. Before booking reservations at an alternate hotel, we recommend calling the Hilton directly and mentioning group code INA to find out if there have been any openings due to cancellations. A first night’s deposit is required to guarantee the reservation. The deposit is refundable if the reservation is cancelled three working days or more prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

To find alternate hotels near the Hilton, try online booking web sites such as www.kayak.com or www.expedia.com. The Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers is located only a block from the Hilton.

IABC has member room rates at the Club Quarters. You may check for room availability and prevailing rates at www.clubquarters.com and enter "IABC" as the membership number. Club Quarters has several locations in New York City and the Rockefeller Center location is closest to the New York Hilton, three blocks away.

Flights and Ground Transportation

There are three airports in the New York City area. LaGuardia airport is approximately eight miles from the conference hotel, JFK International airport is approximately 17 miles away and Newark International airport is approximately 15 miles from the conference hotel. Plan to book your flights early as fares can rise dramatically closer to the conference dates.

Ground transportation from the airports to the New York Hilton

Taxicabs: From LaGuardia, a cab ride is approximately US$30. A cab ride from JFK International is a flat fee of US$45 and from Newark International is a flat fee of US$55. These fares do not include tolls (US$4–US$5) or tip.

Airport shuttle: Shuttle service is available from all the airports to the conference hotel via two shuttle services recommended by NYC & Company:

Super Shuttle: Rides to and from LaGuardia airport cost US$16 (per person, one-way) or US$32 (per person, round-trip). Rides to and from JFK International airport and Newark International airport cost US$19 (per person, one-way) or US$38 (per person, round-trip).

You can either call SuperShuttle directly on the courtesy phone or ask an agent at the desk to arrange for SuperShuttle service. Call 800.258.3826 for reservations or visit www.supershuttle.com.

AirLink New York: Rides from LaGuardia airport cost US$16 (per person, one-way) and rides to LaGuardia airport cost US$18 (per person, one-way). You can also purchase round-trip tickets to and from LaGuardia airport for US$31 (per person).

Visa Requirements for International Attenders

Citizens of some countries may need visas to enter the U.S. and should plan to apply for their visas well in advance. Due to new security measures, it takes longer for U.S. embassies and consulates abroad to process applications. For additional information on securing entry visas, go to http://travel.state.gov.
