Conference Session: AS.6
AS.6 / Speaking your audience’s language: The power of an adaptive communication style
Date: Tuesday, 24 June
Time: 2:45–4 p.m.
Track: Change Management
One size may fit all in baseball caps and hockey sticks, but rarely is that the case with our communication style. The methodical approach of an “analytical” may fall on deaf ears, while the more abrupt communication style of a “driver” can shut down group interaction. During this session, attenders will better understand their own default communication style as well as the tools to be heard more effectively and move an important audience to action.
You will learn how to:
- Identify the four foundational communication styles in an instant
- Create lasting influence with key decision makers and influencers
- Target presentation messages more effectively with minimal preparation
