Conference Session: AS.7
AS.7 / When leaders think big—and act small
Date: Tuesday, 24 June
Time: 2:45–4 p.m.
Track: Communication Leadership
Communicators often find themselves in a difficult position, balancing the ambitions of leaders with employees’ need for authenticity. It can be especially dangerous when senior leaders’ actions undermine the messages carefully crafted by communicators. This session will explore how you can guide leaders to think and act in ways that people will follow.
You’ll learn how to:
- Diagnose if a senior leader’s actions are impeding the message
- Approach senior leaders with this insight
- Coach senior leaders to act, think and communicate in a big, authentic way
