Fellows Session 5 / Measuring the impact of social media
Date: Tuesday, 24 June
Time: 7:15–8:15 a.m.
Track: Strategy & Counsel
Measuring the impact of social media is not just for Technorati anymore. This session will help you wade through and understand many of the Web 2.0 usage metrics. Sinickas will also discuss how to correlate participation in the new social media with your organization’s internal and external goals.
You’ll learn how to:
- Determine where and how social media can add the most value to influencing attitudes and behaviors
- Measure the impact of the social media your organization sponsors against your organization’s appearance on social media platforms you have no control over
- Justify the use of social media to management
