Issues Roundtable 3 / Strange love? Or: how I learned to stop worrying and love my company

Date: Monday, 23 June
Time: 7:15–8:15 a.m.
Track: Strategy & Counsel

This innovative session will draw on the latest research to help communicators identify (and mitigate) the signs of waning employee engagement. By surveying IABC members, research conducted for Manchester Business School shows that a “Corporate Personality Scale” can be used to compare different identity constructs (self image, role identity, corporate image and corporate identity) with practical applications for managing reputations.

Through the language of film, arts and cultural icons, attenders will:

  • Learn what Beckham, Bauhaus and branding have in common
  • Understand how to use the "Corporate Personality Scale"
  • Gain helpful insights on the use of language and identity badges in organizations

Presenter / Rob Briggs / United Kingdom, is senior manager, communications for RBC Wealth Management, British Isles. Briggs is vice chair of the IABC Europe and Middle East region and president of the IABC/Netherlands chapter.
