Conference Session: M1
M1 / Unified messaging across the enterprise
Date: Monday, 23 June
Time: 10:30–11:45 a.m.
Track: Employee Communication
In 2007, Verizon focused on new brand positioning and standardizing employee communication across the enterprise while concentrating on centralized operations and major acquisitions. This presentation will describe the internal positioning of new brand standards through integrated, streamlined employee communication across all business units—grounded in a unique approach to measurement, social media use for two-way messaging and cost-saving communication strategies.
In this session, you will discuss how Verizon:
- Employed a marketing and advertising focus to measure employee engagement
- Implemented a communication strategy that used technology for online and offline employees
- Ensured enterprisewide messaging even in a fragmented employee environment
