In this session, two veterans of corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting will explain the process for producing a credible CSR report, showcase best practices and feature case studies of leading reporters. Attenders will gain an appreciation of how reporting can benefit their company’s reputation—and promote a new cultural mind-set among employees.
Specific topics include:
- Determining the most relevant content to include
- Measuring performance and driving ongoing improvements
- Assuring readers that the content is accurate and credible
Presenters / Amy Anderson / Washington, USA, heads Starbucks' strategic reporting team in the company’s global communication group. She provides leadership and project management for the shareholders annual report and CSR report, which has won recognition from SustainAbility and NIRI. Prior to this, Anderson led communication and reporting for Starbucks’ CSR team.
Liz Gorman / Washington, USA, is a senior member of Cone’s corporate responsibility team. Gorman has led and/or consulted on CSR-related projects for Starbucks, Campbell Soup Company, CVS Caremark, Mattel, REI, Eli Lilly, Chevron and Sun Microsystems. While employed at Eddie Bauer, Gorman managed the community affairs and corporate philanthropy initiatives, including the company’s long-running Global ReLeaf program.
