The following conference registration rates are valid until 19 May 2008.
Due to record early registration numbers, the Lunch and Learning and Research Foundation Luncheon and Seminar are close to selling out. These events are expected to sell out by 16 May. There are still a limited number of spaces, but in order to register for the Conference, Lunch and Gold Quill, Conference and Lunch, Monday and Tuesday daily registrations, and to purchase tickets for these events separately, you must register online using a credit card. IABC can no longer accept other forms of payment for these registrations. No exceptions will be made.

This registration includes all conference breakout and general sessions, the Welcome Reception, Lunch & Learning, Research Foundation Luncheon & Seminar, Networking Reception and Gold Quill Awards® gala dinner (tickets must be purchased for the Pre-conference Workshop and the Post-conference workshop).

Additional-fee events
You must purchase a ticket to attend the following events unless they are included in your registration package or you would like to purchase an additional ticket for a guest. All tickets are nonrefundable, nontransferable, subject to availability and may be purchased in advance or on site.

Daily rates
Daily rates include all programs and events scheduled for that particular day, with the exception of the Sunday Pre-conference Workshop and the Wednesday Post-conference Workshop. Daily rates are nonrefundable.

Team Discounts
When three or more people from the same organization register for the conference at the same time, each person may take a US$100 discount off the Conference, Lunch and Gold Quill Package; Conference & Lunch Package; or Regular Conference registration fee. All registration forms must be received together and have "team" written on each form.
To apply the team discount when registering online, enter the code "TEAM08" and click the "Apply Code" button before entering payment information. This discount does not apply to daily rates, additional-fee events or any portion of the fees applied to membership dues.

Cancellation Policy
An 80 percent refund of your paid registration (excluding membership dues) will be granted for cancellations received on or before 13 June 2008. Refunds will not be granted after 13 June. No exceptions will be made.
An IABC credit equivalent to 80 percent of your paid registration (excluding membership dues) will be issued for cancellations received on or between 14–20 June. This credit can be applied only toward the 2009 International Conference in San Francisco.
No refunds or credits will be granted for cancellations received after 20 June, or for no-shows. IABC will process all refunds/credits after the conference.
Additional-fee event tickets purchased individually are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
In the event that the conference is postponed due to natural disaster or any other cause beyond IABC's control, we will make every effort to reschedule. Any registration payments made will automatically be applied to the rescheduled event. If you choose not to attend the rescheduled conference, IABC will provide a full refund upon written request from the registrant.
Substitutions
If you are unable to attend the conference after registering, you may send someone in your place. Please follow these steps:
1) You must submit the person's name and contact information in writing to IABC prior to Friday, 13 June. Fax and e-mail requests will be honored.
2) If you are an IABC member, and your replacement is a non-member, s/he must pay any outstanding balance as a result of the difference in corresponding fees.
Press Registration
To register as a member of the press, please complete and return the press registration form. If you have any questions, please contact Archana Verma, marketing communication manager, at averma@iabc.com.
All press must be registered prior to conference and will not be admitted to any event without a badge. Submitting this form does not guarantee that you will receive a press badge. IABC reserves the right to issue press badges at our own discretion. Proof of press credentials may be required before IABC will grant you a press badge.
Volunteer Opportunities
All volunteer positions at the conference have been filled. To be considered as a backup, please complete and submit the Request Form.
Should a position become available, assignment will be based on a as-needed basis. IABC cannot accommodate requests for specific volunteer schedules.
