How to Enable Cookies
The IABC web site only uses session cookies, which do not collect information from your computer and are erased after you end your Internet session. Cookies cannot contain viruses and are only visible to the site that created them. Most Internet sites use cookies as a mechanism to identify visitors. The IABC session cookie carries only your member number and an ecrypted password to the pages in the Member Centre, enabling you to access members-only content.
Internet Explorer 7.x and 6.x |
- Select the “Internet
Options...” item in the “Tools” menu.
- Click on the “Privacy” tab
at the top of the Internet Options window that pops up.
- Under “Settings,” click the “Default” button, or manually move the slider to “Medium.”
- Click on the “OK” button at
the bottom of the Internet Options window.

- Select the “Options...” item in the “Tools” menu.
- Click on the “Privacy” icon
at the top of the Options window that pops up.
- Ensure the “Accept cookies from sites ” box is checked.
- Click on the “OK” button at
the bottom of the Options window.

- Select the “Preferences ” item in the “Safari” menu.
- Click on the “Security” icon
at the top of the Preferences window that pops up.
- Under “Cookies,” select “Always” to accept all cookies or “Only from sites you navigate to.”
- Close the Preferences window.
