My Communication (MyComm) is an online strategic communication planning tool developed by Cisco Systems, Inc. It delivers a common planning platform for both communication professionals and managers and team leaders in fulfilling their respective communication roles.

* In the process of reviewing all of the elements of the IABC website, we have decided to formally discontinue use of MyComm as of 31 March 2013. As part of our work towards the next iteration of the site, we are looking at providing you with new options for this kind of planning and collaboration.

About MyComm

My Communication (MyComm) is an online strategic communication-planning tool originally developed by Cisco Systems, Inc. to enhance communication by Cisco employees. In many companies, engaging and informing employees to enhance organizational performance is one of the most urgent communication challenges. MyComm is a critical tool for meeting that challenge.

MyComm is not meant to be:

  • a replacement for preparing quick emails or building PowerPoint presentations
  • a tutorial to develop your writing skills
  • a tool that will write your communication for you (and not all communication is written!)
  • a tool for tactical planning or scheduling
