How Top Business Communicators
Measure Return On Investment of Employee Communications
The IABC Research Foundation has awarded $4,000 to
Juan Meng, doctorial candicate, University of Alabama to research how top business communicators around the world measure the return on investment (ROI) of their organizational communications efforts. The study will analyze the quantitative results from a portion of the 2007-08 effective communication and financial performance study conducted by Watson Wyatt Worldwide and written case studies of up to 50 selected IABC Gold Quill winners from the past five years.

The IABC Research Foundation has awarded $50,000 to CSR Strategies Inc of Calgary, Alberta CANADA for a study on
Corporate Social Responsibility. The study will take a global look at the role of communications and communicators in corporate social responsibility, with the aim of identifying current trends and best practices in corporate social responsibility communications and the roles and responsibilities of communicators in carrying out these initiatives.
