Influenza A (H1N1) Update (Swine Flu)
The IABC 2009 World Conference will take place as planned 7–10 June in San Francisco, California.

Our conference is on track to be an outstanding professional development event with expert communication leaders, an exciting exhibition and extraordinary networking.

We continue to closely monitor information and guidance from federal and international agencies concerning the Influenza A (H1N1) outbreak in the U.S. Currently, neither the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) nor the World Health Organization (WHO) have recommended against travel to the U.S.

We will have hand-sanitizing stations and individual hand sanitizers available. We also are preparing to take any actions that may be recommended by appropriate health authorities to enhance the safety of our attenders. We will post updated information as it becomes available.
