We’re looking for executives, business communication leads, academics, consultants, and agents of change who embody this spirit of connection, inclusion, leadership, courage, and integrity and who have stories that showcase the true power of communication.
With IABC’s World Conference 2023, we’re doing things differently. New this year, we plan to create curated, dialogue-focused learning experiences that focus heavily on peer-to-peer interaction. In addition to a more traditional session submission, you can now submit to speak or lead discussions on topics you are uniquely passionate about that might not yet be fully developed.
Session formats in 2023 will include Panel Discussions, Interactive Workshops, Dialogue Dens, Fishbowl, Expert Debates and Traditional Breakouts. Click here to learn more about each option.

Submit Your Proposal
The Submission and Selection Process
Speakers are selected through a peer-reviewed process, with evaluations conducted by top experts in the field. Selections are based on alignment to the IABC Global Standard and the degree to which the sessions inform, engage and deliver on the theme. We are looking for:
- Leaders and innovators in the business communication space
- New tools and techniques that will foster business growth and audience engagement
- Best practices that others can learn from
- Speakers who push the boundaries of what is happening now—and make attendees think about how to prepare for the future
- Actionable, real-life examples attendees can take back and implement as soon as they hit the ground
- An understanding of engaging with audiences
- And more!
IABC World Conference 2023 strives to provide exceptional experiences and value to attendees. To that end, the Program Advisory Committee will be highly selective in choosing speakers and sessions this year. Please be as strategic and targeted as possible in selecting ONE audience career level and in choosing ONE subject matter track.
