Last month, 21 professionals earned their certification from the Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC). At locations in Las Vegas, Nashville, Vancouver and Calgary, 11 individuals earned the Communication Management Professional (CMP) designation and 10 earned the Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP) designation. Congratulations to them and everyone providing evidence of their outstanding abilities by earning their professional certification!
The GCCC offers two levels of certification:
Communication Management Professional (CMP)—For generalist, specialist and other business communicators established in their careers as managers and looking to demonstrate their competence.
Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP)—For highly skilled business communicators practiced in providing strategic communication advice and counseling to an organization’s leadership.
For detailed information on the CMP or SCMP certification program, including how to get certified, please see the candidate handbook.
If you’re a CMP or SCMP, be sure to add your certification to your LinkedIn profile. Unsure of how to do this? Get the step-by-step process from the GCCC blog by clicking the button below.
