In this episode of CW Radio, Craig Carroll, Ph.D., a visiting scholar in corporate communication at New York University’s Stern School of Business and editor of The Handbook of Communication and Corporate Reputation, discusses CSR communication best practices. Carroll is on the research team for IABC’s ongoing study “Building Sustainable Futures: Communication Strategies for Corporate Social Responsibility Change Management,” sponsored by DIRECTV, and led by Laura Illia, Ph.D., assistant professor and academic director of the master’s in corporate communication program at IE University in Madrid. He shares highlights from the study and explains why stakeholder engagement, trust and authenticity are integral when communicating about CSR programs or initiatives.
