Making Remote Working Work

Recorded on 2 April 2020

With enforced remote working now a reality, millions of us are adjusting to what it means when nearly all colleagues, stakeholders and clients are working away from the workplace. Not to mention the added dynamic of homeschooling for working parents. As many people are finding, individuals and teams that don’t regularly work in this way—at a distance without that close and in-person connection—are struggling to stay effective.

In this webinar, we welcome Jane Sparrow, business culture and remote working expert and founder of The Culture Builders. Jane has been working with businesses for many years on creating high performance remote working cultures and has been supporting a range of global businesses in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic including Lane Crawford, Dell, Salesforce and OVO Energy.

Jane shares her extensive experience of creating an effective remote working culture; making remote working work, quickly and sustainably, and helping people (including ourselves!) to remain connected, positive and effective whilst having to work in a different way. She’ll cover plentiful practical frameworks, help us to consider how remote working can affect different people in different ways, share lots of stories and ideas and provide immediate take-aways that we can all use at an individual, team and organizational level.
