Preparing for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – a podcast hosted by IABC international executive board director Zora Artis

On 25 May, 2018, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) becomes law, bringing sweeping changes that will greatly affect the way organizations must approach data privacy.

IABC international executive board director Zora Artis hosted a podcast from RMIT University discussing the anticipated impact of GDPR. Noted Media Law expert and Northwestern University in Qatar Associate Professor Amy Saunders joined her to outline some of the key considerations and questions being asked in US and Middle East regions about the impact of the GDPR for marketing and communication professionals, journalists and media outlets.
