Earlier this year, marketing consultant and blogger Mark Schaefer wrote in a post that “content shock”—the idea that people can only process a finite amount of information before tuning out—will make content marketing an impractical exercise for most companies. Shel Holtz, ABC, IABC Fellow, disagrees. In fact, he says, media outlets are struggling to keep up with audience demands, and savvy communication professionals can still make targeted content marketing worth the effort.
