DevCom uses the power of communication to assist individuals, companies and communities to reach their social and business goals. DevCom has developed a niche communication service combining business communication and development communication for African environments, measuring business and social impact. We used the feedback from our 2016 client survey to inform a direct sales campaign.

The campaign delivered strategic communication material, with an elephant-shaped doorstop, to executives in targeted companies. It resulted in 100 percent awareness with all the participants, 38 percent conversion into meetings, and closing three new accounts to the value of R6 million. We also upsold in existing accounts to the value of R23 million in an 18-month period, allowing us to double the turn-over of our business during this time.
