Accessible Communication: Making Communication Better, for Everyone - IABC Asia Pacific Region

Accessible Communication: Making Communication Better, for Everyone - IABC Asia Pacific Region

21 - 21 April | 4:00 AM
Virtual

We spend hours perfecting our communication campaigns. But if your content isn't accessible, is it truly effective?

What if you could make your communication even more effective for more people?

Or be confident that people could actually access the messages you’ve spent hours preparing?

It’s not rocket science. It’s accessible communication!

With more than 1 in 6 people worldwide living with a significant disability (source: World Health Organisation), and many millions more living with other types of disability, it makes sense that we ensure our communication is truly accessible.

This is more than simply adding some captions to a video or using the right colours. It’s about honouring the diversity of people with disability, and also recognising that - like all communications - there’s no ‘one size fits all’ approach.

But, where do you even start? That’s where this session comes in ….

Join Matisse Hamel-Nelis and Lisa Riemers to learn:

  • How to spot and fix the most common social media accessibility traps
  • What to look for and how to test your content
  • Make sure your communications have the biggest impact and reach more people
