AI Leadership and Communication

Welcome to the IABC AI Leadership and Communication SIG – a global community for communication professionals exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming organizations, leadership, and the human experience of work.

This SIG is not about the technology itself. It’s about the people who use it, and the communicators who help ensure that empathy, context, and conscience remain at the heart of every AI conversation. As AI reshapes how we create, decide, inform, and connect, communicators play a vital role in helping leaders apply AI responsibly, frame its use ethically, and build trust in its outcomes.

The AI Leadership and Communication SIG exists to help our profession stay human in the age of intelligent machines – by sharing insight, asking difficult questions, and helping organizations see AI not as a cost-cutting weapon, but as a tool to augment human potential.

Who This SIG Is For

This community is designed for mid-to-senior communication professionals who advise leaders, support organizational change, and shape strategic narratives around technology and transformation.
