A membership can be transferred to another person within a company. However, the following criteria must be met:

• The original member must have at least three months left on the membership and the membership must be a professional membership, not a 500 Club, student, retired, or other type of lifetime membership.
• The original member is no longer with the company.
• The employer sends a formal email request to member_relations@iabc.com to transfer the membership.

Please include current information of the new member, including name, title, phone number, email and mailing address, and the name and member ID of the original member.

On July 20, 2021, IABC migrated to a new system and all members were notified about resetting their password. If you need to reset your password, you may do so here: https://members.iabc.com/my-account/my-profile/. 

Dues vary based on your chapter and country. See our dues chart for details. If you live in an area not represented on the dues chart, please email member_relations@iabc.com with your location and request a dues quote.

At IABC, we want to give you as many options as possible. You can now pay your membership dues in quarterly installments! Please email member_relations@iabc.com with any questions.

IABC Memberships are active for one year.

IABC accepts payment in U.S. dollars, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars and euros. Email our member relations team for current exchange rates.

The easiest way is to login to your IABC Profile and click Account. Fill in the appropriate fields with the new information, and be sure to click “save” at the bottom of the screen. You cannot change your name (e.g. if you get married) online. Please email us at member_relations@iabc.com to change your name or chapter.

IABC bylaws prohibit refunding dues for any reason when a membership terminates.

You are welcome to join as a member-at-large. When you join IABC, you will be shown a list of chapters so you can choose the best fit for your membership needs. Your chapter is an amazing part of your membership!

Yes, you may join multiple chapters when you purchase your IABC membership. If you already have a membership, you may purchase an additional chapter here. A step-by-step document is available here to walk you through the process.

You can purchase a Corporate Membership online. Please follow the steps in this document to complete the purchase.

Once full payment has been received, existing members will be converted to corporate members, and new members will be processed as corporate members.

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind:

• Members of a package can be in different chapters across the world. Members of a corporate package are not required to be in the same chapter.
• By committing to two or three years of membership, corporate members can get greater discounts on dues and other products.
