IABC Crisis Communications SIG: Third-Party Risks: Crisis Simulation – Breach in the Supply Chain

IABC Crisis Communications SIG: Third-Party Risks: Crisis Simulation – Breach in the Supply Chain

29 - September | 4:00 PM

Cyber attacks increasingly originate outside our organizations – through a trusted vendor, technology partner or another link in the supply chain. They unfold at a pace that leaves little time to think. Join colleagues from around the world for an interactive exploration of a crisis designed to test your readiness and explore how communicators can strengthen organizational cyber resilience.

Through a real-time and interactive facilitated exercise, participants will work through different aspects of a supply chain cyber crisis, discuss response options and compare approaches during a guided group debrief.

Learning outcomes:

  • Recognize the communications challenges unique to third-party cyber and supply chain incidents.
  • Explore decisions-making under pressure with incomplete and evolving information.
  • Discuss how communications, legal, operational and executive considerations intersect during a cyber crisis.
  • Take away practical ideas to strengthen crisis preparedness within your organization.
